Art. No. Borders. Development of website for contemporary art exhibition
A Digital Space Shaped by Contemporary Art
The website for Art. No Borders. was conceived as a quiet but confident frame that carries the emotional weight of an international exhibition without competing with the artworks themselves.
Designing a Website That Extends the Life of an Exhibition
The goal was to create a digital environment that documents a major contemporary art event while preserving the conceptual depth and visual diversity of the works presented.
A Coherent Digital Archive for a Time‑Bound Exhibition
We developed a flat information structure, a neutral yet expressive typographic system based on Inter, and a hybrid grid that introduced controlled asymmetry enhanced by subtle delayed‑scroll interactions, while the homepage featured a real‑time 2D canvas animation echoing the exhibition’s graphic identity.
A Precise Digital Interpretation of Contemporary Art
The platform provides a unified narrative that preserves artworks dependent on their physical context, ensuring their presence continues beyond the exhibition’s limited duration. The project demonstrates how thoughtful digital design can support complex artistic ideas by offering structure, clarity and a lasting sense of presence.
